Teenager Pronounced Dead at Scene

A 16-year-old boy from Royal Palm Beach was killed in a dirt bike collision in Loxahatchee on Wednesday.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO) said the crash occurred at about 4:30 p.m. on Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, just west of Palms West Drive.

According to investigators, the teen was riding a dirt bike north on Seminole Pratt Whitney Road when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree.

Teenager Pronounced Dead at Scene

PBSO deputies and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the scene and found the teen lying on the ground with severe injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The crash remains under investigation by the PBSO's Traffic Homicide Unit.
